VERBIER
(4 Valleys)
An Upmarket Party Resort With Amazing Skiing…
Verbier is a very cute ski village and is situated at a high altitude of 1500 m. It’s small and has a population of around 2800 but there are many nice places to eat and drink. Verbier is a bit of a party place that goes into the early hours in the morning.
For accommodation, there are a few hotels but its very popular to stay in Chalets and there are many of those to choose from.
Verbier is not the easiest place to get to and is located in the central south of Switzerland. Its 2.5 hours drive from Geneve or over a 3-hour train journey. Alternatively its a 3-hour drive from Turin Airport. The ski area is the 4 Valleys ski and it links the resorts of Verbier, Nendaz, Thyon, Veysonnaz, Bruson and La Tzoumaz with the use of one ski pass.
The area is huge and you need at 5-7 days to ski it all.
