Casa Chameleon is possibly the nicest hotel we ever encountered. It’s a boutique eco-friendly hotel and offers almost 360 degrees of incredible, stunning views.

We stumbled upon this amazing property very randomly when we’re out exploring beaches on this side. We actually drove past it but suspected there might be some good views from here due to its high location. So on our way back from the beach, we stopped for lunch and wow! The next day we came back first thing in the morning. Pictures just speak for themselves…

The restaurant offers even better views than from the pool, and the food is absolutely amazing. The best food we had in Costa Rica by far. There are lovely seafood dishes like seared tuna, tartare and ceviche served with some nice wines and cocktails…

All the amenities and rooms are spectacular as expected. Although distracted by the stunning views, take a moment to appreciate just how beautiful this hotel is. From the lobby to each individual room, care and attention have gone into every detail from floor to ceiling.

Sunset here is also spectacular and they have there’s a lovely ceremony that happens just as the sun sets. The place gets very busy at this time so reserve your spot beforehand…
